The Remote Discover Scuba (3-4 hour program), conducted by a certified PADI Dive Instructor, is for scuba novices. After completing a short online knowledge introduction, your Instructor will take you through the scuba diving equipment and a few simple dive skills in shallow water before taking you on an underwater exploration of our very own House reef.
The Remote Discover Scuba experience can be booked in advance of your stay so that you can complete the online knowledge portion before arriving at the resort! Once booked, you will receive an email with a general introduction to the experience and an online link to access your PADI Discover Scuba program.
Once you’ve completed your Remote Discover Scuba you are welcome to book a dive with the Remote Dive Team to dive on the Rainbow Reef (up to a maximum depth of 12 metres). Many dive sites on the Rainbow Reef are fully enjoyed without going deeper than 12 metres so you would not need to worry that you would be missing out on seeing the beauty of the reef.
